Editorial Policy
At News French Fries, we believe great journalism starts with honesty. This Editorial Policy describes how we research, write, edit, and correct the stories we publish across news, sports, culture, and technology.
Our Standards
Accuracy. Every claim of fact is verified before publication. We rely on primary sources whenever possible and clearly attribute information to its origin.
Independence. Our editorial decisions are made independently of advertisers, sponsors, or commercial partners. Sponsored content, when present, is clearly labeled as such.
Fairness. We strive for balanced coverage and represent multiple perspectives on contested issues. We give subjects of critical reporting an opportunity to respond.
Transparency. When we get something wrong, we say so. Corrections and updates are clearly noted on the affected articles.
Sourcing
We prioritize official statements, peer-reviewed research, primary documents, and on-the-record interviews. Anonymous sources are used only when necessary and when their information can be corroborated.
Use of AI
Some research tasks at News French Fries are assisted by AI tools, but every article is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by human editors before publication. We do not publish unverified AI-generated content.
Corrections Policy
If you spot an error in our reporting, please email contact@newsfrenchfries.com. Verified errors will be corrected promptly, with a note appended to the article explaining what was changed and when.
Conflicts of Interest
Our writers and editors disclose any personal or financial relationships that could reasonably influence their coverage. When a conflict cannot be avoided, the story is reassigned.
